Pierce Creek Property Report/Kopyrkyute

The following report, in img011.pdf., was written by Pat Cavanaugh after ECM's evaluation in 1991!

The pit mentioned in Pat's report, was opened in 1964-5 by Dominic Job and Harvey Frederick. There were 2 adits, one above the other, facing the north fork of Pierce Creek. There is no historical information on who drove these adits or when.

Dominic Job told me that the lower adit had a stope in it from which he took a grab sample. I had it assayed in 1995 by Wayne Olmstead, at Mt. Powell Labs, in Deer Lodge Mt. It came back as 60% fe, 30% cu and 20 ounces of ag per ton. See photos below. img046-47jpg.

In April of 2005, VGR dug into the caved stope and took a sample that ran 1.4 % cu and 55.16% fe. See assay sheets attached. img030.pdf
